Install MSDE2000A

c:\Magic940\CarouselTCPIP\MDSE 2000A.
Run setup.exe

Install Dart TCP/IP

DART PowerTCP Installation
The DART TCP installation on the server requires a registry import of the file DartRegDartSock.reg
located in directory c:\Magic940\CarouselTCPIP\Dart PowerTCP
Double click on the file DartRegDartSock.reg

NTWDBLIB.DLL

DoveBot.exe uses this dll and it may be missing.
A copy is attached to this page.
Copy into c:\windows\system32 dir

Load Dovebot.exe

 

Install Magic runtime

 

Load generic TCP/IP Dove Tree application

 

Configure tables and ini files

 

See Configure White Carousels on how to enter configuration parameter into carousel configuration table.

Configure Diamond Carousels

Configure Remstar Carousels

Test Scenario

Start telnet client program.
Connect to DoveBot.exe. Remember to use port number corresponding to port number configured in ini file.
Send a rotate command to each carousel controller.
Confirm carousels rotate to proper position
Confirm in position response is received from each carousel controller by telnet client.
Send a light tree command to selected tree.
Confirm appropriate display is turned on.
Press a task complete button on appropriate light tree.
Confirm that a button pressed response is received by telnet client.
Send a clear light tree command to selected tree.
Confirm appropriate display is turned off.
Send a query command.
