Reorder Report (Replenishment Report)

This report is our original report. See Reorder Report for more details.
Summary: The current replen report reports zones or individual locations that need replenishment by comparing current qty on hand + expected qty with the Replen_Trigger_Level in the part master. When running the program, the user has the option of interpreting the replen trigger level as applying to individual location or applying to the zone as a  whole.

Option to apply the replen_trigger_level to the entire zone was added in version 4.3d, 1/26/2007, for Case 1792

Question

How do you exclude part numbers that have zero qty and customer does not want to replenish? This is not a valid question in WMS V4, because in this case the user should delete the primary zone part_master and set the secondary zone part_master to primary.

Primary Zone Replenishment Report

Primary Zone Replenishment Report

Reorder Zone Report NEW!!!!

Answers the question 'What part_numbers need to have qty ordered from the outside?'

The Replen_Trigger_Level is to interpreted to mean for zone.

  1. Find all secondary zone part_numbers that have total qoh + total expected < replen_trigger_level for that zone.
  2. Find all primary zone part_numbers have no secondary zone locations and that have total qoh + total expected < replen_trigger_level for that zone.
  3. Report interection of the two sets above.

Question

How do you exclude part numbers that have zero qty and customer does not want to replenish? Good question!
The customer can manually set the replenishment trigger to 0 for any parts they don't want to replenish.
