Summary

This guide teaches batch picking. Within the guide, you will learn how to Parallel pick, multiple Zone pick, pick from a single Zone, adjust pick quantity (short pick), add additional totes to a batch and abort a batch.



Procedure

The nine steps that must be completed, to Setup Batch for Picking with optional Tote program are as follows:

1. Enter Pick Program
2. Select type of picking.
3. Select orders to pick.
4. If you have Tote Tracking turned on, enter Tote ID.
5. Task Complete
6. View Orders in Batch
7. Change pick quantity for short picks.
8. Full Tote
9. Abort Batch



1. Enter Pick Program

From the Main Menu go to Carousel > Pick Orders or Press "Pick Orders" from Main Splash screen.

2. Select type of picking.

A. Click on Parallel Button To select orders than can be parallel picked.

B. Click on Pick and Pass Button To select orders than have picks in my zone and picks downstream.

C. Click on My Zone Only Button To select orders than have picks ONLY in my zone.

3. Select orders to pick.

1. Press Select

2. Select Orders by clicking in the Selected field of the desired Order Number.

3. When finished selecting Order Numbers press Selection Complete.

4. Tote Tracking

If you have Tote Tracking turned on:

Scan or enter Tote ID and press enter on the keyboard.

5. Task Complete

5. Press Task Complete

If the Carousel is not in the correct location click Retry Rotate.

If you picked all expected items and the location should be empty you will receive the Location is Empty message.
Remove any remaining (unexpected) material and report it to your Supervisor.

Click OK.

6. Press Task Complete

Additional Options


Option: Orders In Batch

This option allows you to see all Batch Orders and the Totes they are associated with, click Continue to return to the Pick from Location screen.

Option: Change Quantity

1. Enter the adjusted quantity in the "Actual Pick Qty" field.

2. Press Changes Complete.

3. When you short pick, a cycle count will be scheduled.

4. Click OK.

Option: Full Tote

1. Additional Totes may be need to complete the batch, click on Full Tote.

2. a new label will be printed. Attach the new label to an empty Tote.

3. Click Continue to return to the Pick from Location Screen.

Option: Abort Batch

When you press Abort the next time you select Pick from the menu you will be directed to the Active Orders Exist in Zone screen. You may:

1. Cancel that Batch

2. Continue to process the Batch.

3. If there is more than one Batch listed click on the desired Batch and press Continue.

4. If any remaining Batches are listed the next time you select Pick from the main menu you will be directed back to the Active Orders Exist in Zone screen.
